Last Minute Reminders
A few last minute reminders for your equine psychotherapy session.
It's on a farm.Sessions will be in an outdoor environment, so you may want sunscreen, bugspray and water. Expect living things like cats, other horses, birds and bugs, and prepare accordingly for your own allergies. There may be other people on the farm attending to their own animals and work. They understand our expectation of privacy. |
What to wear and bring.I recommend long pants and close-toed shoes. You may choose anything from jeans to workout attire, but it is reasonable to expect they may get dirty. We will be outside, so dress for the weather. Please do not bring your own pets, additional family members (unless previously discussed), or treats for the horses. |
Inclement weather and horse emergencies. In cases of inclement weather, including heavy rain, wind and snow, we will need to reschedule your session. In the case of a horse emergency, eg your scheduled therapy horse is sick or injured, and another horse is not available, we will need to reschedule your session.
